RHA - Town Hall Meeting October 18th 2007

We began the meeting with musical chairs as an icebreaker. .
Geoff reminded everyone of the Breast Cancer Walk October 20^th. Everyone that can go should meet in the RT parking lot at 8am.
Geoff also mentioned our RHA float for the homecoming parade. Hopefully, everyone will be able to help paint it and march in the parade. We will be handing out candy and other fun stuff. We also need dancers if anyone is interested.
Jenina set around the movie list and a list of ideas for the fall exam kit.
Vilay talked about safety concerns. JT and Vilay our on the committee about safety on campus. Some things that were mentioned were improved lighting, cameras, an emergency phone in Graduate and Student Family Housing. The resident parking lots were mentioned as a safety concern. Some people suggested having more police controls and better lighting. We also talked about better ways to get important information to residents.
Keeshanda reminded everyone about the Halloween Carnival (October 26^th 5pm-7pm at GSFH/ Rain date October 28^th). E-mail Keeshanda to help with the homecoming float.
Andrea is still trying to reschedule the carwash. She reported that penny wars was going extremely well. Also she let everyone know that letter writing for Up Till Dawn will be on October 29^th 9am-9pm in the Pan Building.
Nora is planning on e-mailing hall reps about getting their info on the website. The November newsletter should be out by the end of next week.
Nora also asked people to join the Committee to Review the Residence Hall Information Brochure.
Denise let everyone know that TARH is going to be at Tennessee Tech and we plan on bringing a delegation of 14
